Every day the beloved Ventura Avenue community confronts isolation and hopelessness due to barriers to services, addiction, generational poverty, and unsafe streets.
Our Vision
is to restore broken individuals and foster thriving communities marked by safe and clean streets, sobriety, services and resources, and spiritual transformation.
We provide life changing hope through connecting the houseless, youth, and working families to services and programs that offer practical direction, purpose, and connection.
Since launching in late 2022, we’ve served thousands of Avenue residents, helped many houseless individuals get sober and off the street, and linked dozens of kids to after school programs.
The Community Outreach Center (COC) is a team of Avenue residents and champions who partner with various public and private organizations in order to foster a thriving community with safe and clean streets and transformed people.
